Overview
This multi-use facility needed a flooring system that could withstand ongoing heavy pedestrian traffic – thousands of people several times a week. During construction, the concrete cracked on the main concourse level.
Details
Technicians prepared the concrete floor surface by steel shot-blasting in order for the flooring materials to bond properly with the concrete substrate. They then filled the cracks with MMA resin and installed a decorative flake floor system to repair the cracks and enhance the aesthetics of the concourse.
