Façade Restoration & Joint Sealant Replacement – Professional Office Building

Project Overview

This project involved comprehensive facade restoration and joint sealant replacement for a business park in Mechanicsburg, PA. Our primary goal was to enhance the building’s exterior integrity and aesthetic appeal by addressing various issues with the EIFS and tile surfaces.

Purpose and Objectives

The main undertaking was to remove failed, deteriorated joint sealants and install new sealants in the tile and EIFS wall joints and window perimeters. This was complemented by tile mortar joint repointing, tile decorative coating, and the application of EIFS elastomeric coating to ensure long-lasting protection and an improved visual appearance.

Scope of Work

  • Removing deteriorated joint sealants and installing new sealants in the EIFS wall joints and around window perimeters.
  • Patching and coating of EIFS surfaces with elastomeric materials for enhanced durability and weather resistance.
  • Repointing of tile mortar joints to restore structural integrity and prevent water ingress.
  • Applying decorative coating to the tile surfaces to improve the building’s overall aesthetic appeal.

The project team executed the work meticulously within the 12-week timeline, ensuring minimal disruption to building occupants and maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the project.
