Our team revitalized the main lobby and hallway of a major food processing facility by installing a new decorative epoxy quartz floor. This upgrade not only provided a fresh and colorful aesthetic but also incorporated the company’s logo directly into the flooring system — offering a visible branding element for both visitors and employees upon entering the premises. The transformation effectively converted a worn-out floor into a vibrant and modern space.
Purpose & Objectives
A food processing company in Mechanicsburg, Pa., contacted Houck seeking to refresh the dated appearance of their facility. We understand this is a common issue in older manufacturing plants, often exhibiting signs of wear and tear from the passage of time. However, the client’s critical need to complete this project within a strict shutdown timeline added a layer of complexity.

- Removing the existing vinyl tile in the lobby.
- Shot blasting the hallway to prepare the surface.
- Installing the specified epoxy floor system.
