Gary-L.-Houck

Gary L. Houck, Sr.

Head Cheerleader/CEO

Gary L. Houck is the Head Cheerleader/CEO of Houck. He has more than 45 years of experience in the restoration, roofing, specialty construction, and real estate industries.

Gary has been a guest speaker and lecturer at numerous university and industry classes, seminars, and events, including the University of Wisconsin, Penn State University, Elizabethtown College, HACC, Messiah College, and others.  He is the founding president of RIL Insurance Company (Roofers Insurance, Ltd.) and a member of their board of directors.  He is a past president and director of SWR Institute (Sealant, Waterproofing & Restoration Institute).  He also has been and is currently a member of various boards including Pennsylvania State University Athletic Advisory Council, NRCA (National Roofing Contractors Association), Messiah College, Commonwealth Bank, Mellon Bank, Liberty Mutual Insurance, HACC Alex Grass School of Business, Penn State University’s Four Diamonds/Hershey Medical Center, the Keystone Sports Foundation, Harrisburg Area YMCA, Firestone/Bridgestone Advisory Council, Sherwood Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Dinner of Champions, American Subcontractors Association, Mid-Atlantic Builders Exchange, and the American Cancer Society. He has also been involved in other civic, community, and industry associations including the Rotary Club, Construction Specification Institute (CSI), and Masonry Contractors Association (MCA), among numerous others.

Gary is a 1973 alumnus of Pennsylvania State University, where he received a Bachelor of Business degree.  In addition, he received his Associate of Arts degree from HACC in 1971 and graduated with honors from the United States Army Finance School at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana in 1968.  Mr. Houck resides in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with his wife, Patricia. They have a grown daughter, Kara Ayn, son-in-law, Kyle (McCaffrey), and grandsons, Dean Carter and Miles Declan, who reside in Middleton, Wisconsin. Gary and Patti’s eldest son, Gary Jr., passed away in 2005 at the age of 29.

Lin R. Sensenig

President

Lin Sensenig is the President of Houck. In this role, Lin is responsible for the day-to-day management of Houck, which includes Houck Group, Inc., Houck Services, Inc., and Houck & Company, Inc.

Lin joined the Houck team with more than two decades of experience in the operational oversight and management of corporate structures. Lin most recently served as Senior Consultant for North Group and previously as President of Champion Group which includes Champion, Moyer Diebel, Bi-Line, and Moffat USA brands and is part of Ali Group North America.

Lin and his wife, Patti, live in Reinholds, PA with their youngest daughter, Tiana. Their oldest daughter, Katelyn, lives with her husband Matt Stoltz and sons, Wade Micah and Bryce Caleb, in Quentin, PA; and their middle daughter, Makenzie, lives with her husband, Ben Skiles, also in Quentin, PA.

Joe Seibert

Chief Financial Officer

Joe Seibert is the Chief Financial Officer for Houck. In this role, Joe is responsible for the strategic financial management of Houck which includes Houck Group, Inc., Houck Services, Inc., and Houck & Company, Inc.

Joe is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and joined the Houck team with more than three decades of experience in the Harrisburg, PA office of KPMG. Joe served as a Partner for more than 20 years in Audit and Advisory Practices, and in addition to serving his clients, was responsible for practice strategy, personnel, business development, and quality control for the local practice. Joe is a past president of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and currently serves on the Council of the AICPA.

Joe and his wife, Diane, live in Lower Paxton Township, PA, and have two adult children, Kalli and Ryan.

David Gaugler

Controller

David Gaugler is the Financial Controller for Houck. David joined the Houck team in August 2021 as the Controller for Houck Group, Inc., and related companies.

David is responsible for financial services including accounting, treasury, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis as well as the operations coordinator team which supports the project managers/estimators in their contract bid processes.

David came to Houck from the manufacturing and construction business sectors with 20+ years of experience in accounting services, management, software implementation, and business process improvement. David is a graduate of Shippensburg University, from which he earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance.

David and his wife Linda reside in Mountville, PA.

Matthew W. Moul

Senior Vice President – Roofing

Matthew Moul is the Senior Vice President of Houck’s Roofing Department. He has been with Houck since 2001. In addition to managing the Roofing Department, Matt enjoys preparing detailed cost estimates along with overseeing projects from start to finish.

Matt is committed to safely completing quality and professional projects for our clients. His many years of experience enable him to work with building owners and their representatives to complete projects on time and within budget.

Matt enjoys mentoring and investing in the next generation of roofing professionals here at Houck. He places an emphasis on communication and team collaboration.

He is a graduate of NRCA’s Future Executive Institute and was a panelist in the 2011 Best of Success Roofing Contractor Conference. One particular experience that stands out to Matt, while at Houck, was assisting local Boy Scouts in getting their Metalwork Merit Badges.

Matt and his wife Aimee, live in Thomasville, PA, and have three grown children, Andrew, Sarah, and Kayla.

Austin-Rhodes

Austin S. Rhodes

Senior Vice President — Restoration/Industrial

Austin Rhodes is Senior Vice President of Houck’s Masonry Restoration/Industrial Department and predominately handles projects involving sealants and masonry restoration.

Austin has been with Houck for over 20 years, working in the warehouse before moving into an estimator/project management position and then joining the Leadership Team.  During his time with the company, he has been responsible for over $17,000,000 in contract awards and has been the project manager for over 900 separate projects.  Professionally, Austin is passionate about solving customers’ problems and being part of a team that gives the client a high-quality project experience.

Austin is a graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, from which he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and has received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College.  Other industry-related education includes: SWRI (Sealant, Waterproofing, Restoration Institute), University of Wisconsin Masonry Design and Construction – How to Avoid and Solve Masonry Problems Seminar, and periodic attendance to The World of Concrete trade show.  He began a career at Houck because it combined his interest in construction, finance and business.

His favorite way to spend free time is being with his family or participating in outdoor sports. He is passionate about The Kids Trust, a charitable organization that raises money to help improve the lives of abused children.

Austin, his wife, and their son and daughter reside in Harrisburg, PA.

Ray-G

Raymond P. Glackin, Jr.

Senior Vice President – Roof Maintenance

Raymond P. Glackin Jr. is the Senior Vice President of Houck’s Roof Maintenance Department.  He has been with Houck since 2002. He is responsible for the daily business operation and financial reporting of the Roof Maintenance Department.  Ray is committed to superior customer service and finding the proper solution for our clients’ roofing needs.

Ray is a graduate of NRCA’s Future Executives Institute.  He has been employed in the roofing industry for over 23 years in Central Pennsylvania, with experience in both residential and commercial roofing. He started as a field laborer on a residential crew and has moved up through the ranks to Vice President.  In his free time, he is the assistant coach for a local high school fastpitch softball team and enjoys spending time with his family. Ray is also an avid hunter and enjoys spending time in the great outdoors.

Ray, his wife, and three children reside in York, PA.

Frank D. Armstrong, Jr.Frank-Armstrong

Director of HR, Safety, & Loss Control

Frank is the Director of HR, Safety, & Loss Control for Houck. Frank has over 45 years of experience in the construction industry, of which the last 20 years have been in the Safety and Human Resources departments. Frank has developed plans and implemented programs to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning transportation, hazardous materials, and waste-handling, mine safety and training, excavation, and steel erection.

Frank provides training and orientation for employees of Houck as well as supplemental training on new techniques and methods for the more experienced employees of Houck. Frank works diligently with Houck’s employees and other safety professionals in the area to provide a safe working environment for our employees and customers. By working with OSHA, ASSP, NATMI, NSC, Manufacturers FOA, and other trade associations, Frank is able to continue the level of professionalism and safety that Houck is known for.

Bethany R. Tesché

Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Bethany is Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Houck. She graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Writing and Communication. Bethany has over 15 years of experience in marketing, business development, and sales. The experience she has gained in these industries has provided her with the ability to pinpoint targeted demographics and create customized plans for reaching those prospects, and being a “people-person” has enabled her to flourish in the area of outside sales and networking.

She enjoys the opportunities that Houck has afforded her to “wear many hard hats,” and she thrives on facing new challenges while creating solutions to benefit Houck and its clients. Bethany started with Houck as Marketing Coordinator before later filling the role of Director of Business Development & Client Relations. She became part of Houck’s Leadership Team in 2015 and is excited about her recent promotion to Vice President. Bethany also serves on the Board of Directors for the Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC), a charter member of National Women in Construction (NWIC), and as Chairwoman of the Central PA Chapter of National Women in Roofing (NWiR).

For Bethany and her husband, Jim, “home, sweet home” is Palmyra, PA where she serves on the Palmyra Area Recreation & Parks Commission and volunteers as a youth leader for Encounter of Palmyra’s Impact! Student Ministry.
