Epoxy Injection
Epoxy Injection Services
Cracks within your concrete structure can often spell disaster;
untreated cracks may allow moisture and other contaminants to penetrate
concrete support systems, often requiring complete system replacement.
With epoxy injection from Houck Specialty Contractors, however,
high-strength epoxy injection resin can restore the structural integrity
of a concrete facility by eliminating water leakage and also serving
as a reinforcing bar protectant.
How does epoxy injection work?
Often the only alternative to complete structural replacement, epoxy
injection involves sealing existing concrete cracks with an epoxy
injection sealant capable of returning structural concrete to its
original strength. Epoxy injection creates a seal impervious to
air, water, chemicals, and other contaminants. Epoxy injection also
serves to weld a structure weakened by cracks back to its original
density. Combined, the sealing and welding properties of epoxy injection
can bring a concrete structure back to its original performance
level and prevent future cracks from forming.
Epoxy Injection Analysis
Before we begin any epoxy injection work, Houck carefully assesses
the condition of existing concrete weaknesses to determine the epoxy
injection approach most suited to the application. Epoxy injection
applications can range from simple to fairly complex depending on
existing damage and facility size, and Houck will prepare a detailed
epoxy injection strategy before any work is done. If a reinforcing
bar has already sustained substantial damage, Houck may also suggest
additional engineering work.
Epoxy injection is a permanent high-strength solution to cracks
occurring within a concrete structure. For more information on Houck's
