Theater
Coating Systems Project - Virginia
Overview:
This multi-level outdoor theater copper roof project required tedious planning for execution and safety. The highly visible theater required a controlled application to avoid overspray.
Details:
Houck prepared the roof substrate then applied an expandable webbing fabric in a base coat of surface primer to allow for movement within the flat roof surface to span seams and fasteners and eliminate future separation. All seams, angle changes and fasteners were encapsulated with flashing materials and fabric. The coating system was completed with a base coat and a finish coat of a solvent-based coating material.
