Early 20th Century Building

Structural Repair Project - Pennsylvania

Overview:
After years of vacancy, the building had fallen into disrepair. Only walls and a ruined roof were left of the gutted structure.

Details:
Houck’s masonry repairs to this historical structure included removing one-quarter inch of thick cementitious coating from all brick surfaces. Crews repointed all masonry joints, repaired masonry and applied water repellent to the brick veneer.
